Not all diecast is created equal. Some brands deliver insane detail for the price. Others charge a premium but back it up with quality. Here are the brands collectors are watching in 2025.
Mini GT
The gateway drug for 1:64 collectors. Mini GT delivers consistent quality, wide variety, and prices that won't hurt. Licensed models, clean paint, solid detail. If you're starting out, start here.
Inno64
JDM heaven. Inno64 specializes in Japanese classics — Skylines, Civics, S2000s — with detail that punches way above the price. Limited runs sell out fast. If you see one you want, don't sleep.
Error404
The new kid that came in hot. Error404 focuses on JDM legends with crazy attention to detail — engine bays, interiors, wheel fitment. Their R34 Skylines are some of the best in the game right now.
YM Model
Premium resin builds. YM Model goes deep on Supras, GT-Rs, and widebody builds. Higher price point, but the detail justifies it. These are display pieces, not shelf fillers.
Microturbo
The brand that gave us working pop-up headlights. Their MR2 and Miata models have a literal flip switch on the bottom. Fun, functional, and detailed. A collector favorite for good reason.
FuelMe Models
If you're into RWB Porsches and widebody builds, FuelMe is your brand. High-quality resin, accurate liveries, and that aggressive stance collectors love.
TPC / Timothy & Pierre
Known for JDM and European exotics with intricate detail. They do limited runs and special editions that collectors hunt. Quality is consistently solid.
