Type "microturbo" into a search bar and you will get a pile of results about jet engines and aircraft power units. Cool, but not what we are here for. This is about MicroTurbo, the 1:64 brand that has JDM collectors refreshing their pre-order emails. If you are into wide bodies, weird trucks and cars that look like they rolled out of a Japanese car meet, keep reading.

What Makes MicroTurbo Different
Most 1:64 brands play it safe: a stock car, a couple of colors, done. MicroTurbo goes the other way. The catalog leans hard into tuner culture, with wide-body kits, sponsor liveries and cars that look like someone already modified them for you. Plenty of releases are in metallic finishes, and a lot of them carry names collectors already recognize from the scene, like Rocket Bunny, Pandem, Spoon, Mugen, J'S Racing and HKS.

The Honda S2000 Family
The S2000 is the backbone of the brand, and the variety is wild. On the wide-body side you have the Honda S2000 Pandem Rocket Bunny Red and the Rocket Bunny Valentine's Pink. There are also two pre-orders in Rocket Bunny form, the Custom Rocket Bunny Metallic Blue and the RB Metallic White.
Livery fans get the ENEOS #00 TOP FUEL in Candy Blue, plus the JS Racing cars in Candy Red and Indy Yellow Pearl. There is also a plain Metallic White, and the Honda S2000 DEMON KING for anyone who follows that style. Our Demon King buyer's guide explains the appeal.
Nissan 180SX Releases
The 180SX might be the most stacked platform here. You can go Pandem Rocket Bunny in White or Baby Blue, or clean and sharp with the Type X in Metallic Black, Metallic Blue, or the MIYABI version in Metallic Black. There is also a Miyabi in Metallic Silver and a Spirit Rei in Purple Chameleon. Start with the Pandem Rocket Bunny Baby Blue if you want a car that stands out on a shelf.
Lamborghini Diablo
MicroTurbo does not stay in Japan. The Diablo shows up in several forms: the Diablo SV in Metallic Yellow, a pre-order SV in Metallic Black, and the Custom Diablo SVR in Metallic Blue. The Custom Diablo SVR Metallic Blue is the one to grab if you like your supercars a little modified.
MX-5, Eunos Roadster and MR2
Fans of lightweight roadsters have plenty of options. The Custom MX5 Rocket Bunny Metallic White and the Eunos Roadster RHD Rocket Bunny Metallic Blue cover the wide-body side, and the Eunos Roadster MX-5 Customized Metallic Black takes a more subtle approach. There is also a Mazda Miata MX-5 HEC2023 Edition.
Mid-engine people get the Toyota MR-2 SW20 Revision 4 V2 White, a Customized Yellow MR2, a Red and White racing livery MR2, and the MR2 SW20 HEC Show 2023 Limited Edition.
Honda Civic Type R FD2, NSX-R and More
For the Honda crowd, the FD2 shows up as the Civic Type R Spoon Sports in Metallic White, the FD2 MUGEN RR Custom in Red, and the FD2 J'S Racing in Metallic Black. The NSX-R WideBody in Gloss Black rounds out the Honda side.
The Hino 300 Trucks and Dekotora
This is where MicroTurbo gets truly unique. The Hino 300 is available as box trucks, flatbeds and a wing truck, in liveries like HKS, Spoon, Pink #43, The Boring Concept, AIT Limited Edition and Blue Calsonic. There is even a Hino 300 LBWK Silhouette Lighting #23 and a Pandem Rocket Bunny flatbed in White. The Dekotora Flatbed Tow Truck brings the over-the-top Japanese truck style to the shelf. They make great display partners for your tuner cars.
